Re: Version 1.1.1 is released
Will this bitstream DTSHD-MA (not transcode to LPCM) to the PS3 now?
So the DTSHD-MA light will be lit on my receiver?
As well as Dolby Truehd?

Re: Version 1.1.1 is released
If your receiver supports those formats it should do, yes

Re: Version 1.1.1 is released
Just tested this, when the LPCM lossless option is selected, it pipes the TrueHD or DTSHD-MA track as LPCM, mutli channel is lit up on the receiver, with 7.1 LPCM being reported on the PS3 info bar, with it unticked, it sends AC3 or DTS Core track instead as bitstream.
I'm guessing there is nothing available yet to pipe the bitstream (not LPCM transcoded) of a TrueHD and DTSHD-MA audio track to the PS3 yet?

Re: Version 1.1.1 is released
The PS3 doesn't support those streams directly, but this process is lossless so it makes no difference. It's like when you listen to a FLAC file instead of an audio CD, technically the FLAC file is the result of transcoding but it still has all of the data of the CD so it hasn't lost any quality.spida_singh wrote:Just tested this, when the LPCM lossless option is selected, it pipes the TrueHD or DTSHD-MA track as LPCM, mutli channel is lit up on the receiver, with 7.1 LPCM being reported on the PS3 info bar, with it unticked, it sends AC3 or DTS Core track instead as bitstream.

Re: Version 1.1.1 is released
I have thoroughly regression tested this version (1.1.1) with at least 4 dozen mkv's I have created over the past few years. And believe me, I have created my mkv's over a dozen different ways, and with several different software programs, over the years. Other than some NPEs in the debug.log file (that don't seem to affect playback), this is a very stable build.
Great job SubJunk.

Counsil,
Any possibility of sharing those MKV files for stress testing?
