No transcoding, no embeded subtitles

Post by [email protected] »

HI!

I would like to run the files without any transcoding. My TV reads all video and audio formats. On "skip transcoding extensions" i inserted the video extensions i use to play (avi,mp4,mkv). Is it enough?

I'm portuguese so i always use subtitles. I have always a srt subtitle next to the video file, with the same name. I dont like to see embeded subtitles because i cant configurate them on my TV, sync it, etc. What configuration on UMS should i do to just read the video file and srt file directly form my TV?

Thanks

It should be enough and the LG .conf file in the debug looks ok too. It maybe it needs to transcode your subtitles, but unfortunately i'm no expert on subtitles. Maybe Exsport/Subjunk or someone else can help

Try adding:

Code: Select all

SubtitleHttpHeader=CaptionInfo.sec
after

Code: Select all

StreamExtensions=asf,wmv,avi,divx,mp4,m4v,mov,3gp,3g2,mkv,ts,trp,tp,mts,m2ts,vob,mpg,mpeg,mp3,jpg,jpeg,jpe,jps,mpo
in the LG-42LA644V.conf

Maybe it will help... maybe :)
