Yes they would, it would just then be transcoded.

You can test away on your own SamsungAllShare.cong but most of us have the defualt SamsungAllShare.cong working =)

Perhaps I should have said "they DIDN'T play by default" instead of "wouldn't", as my player did not play .m4v files until I added it to the streamextensions list.
