Vizio Smart TV and Windows Media Center wtv
First off, thanks for UMS!
I have a Vizio smart TV that supports DLNA. I have UMS set up and on the TV I can see the media folder I have designated. I would like to be able to stream recorded tv in the wtv format from windows media center to the TV via the Vizio app. The problem is that the wtv file does not show up on the TV. If I convert the wtv file to DVRMS I can see the file on the TV, but if I choose the file nothing happens. It doesn't play. I've read that FFMpeg can transcode wtv files, but either I'm doing something wrong or what I'm trying to do isn't possible. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.
