UMS Can't See More Than 10 Movies?

Hi all,

This is my first post so my apologies if this question has been asked before. Anyway.
I've installed UMS on my home PC which is networked to my Samsung SMT-G7400. I've a collection of 500+ movies on a HDD but when i "point" UMS to the directory containing the movies, it always only lists 10 movies?

If i nest folders i.e. 10 movies in a folder, contained in another folder containing 10 folders with 10 movies in each and so on, then everything works fine but it's a hassle having to break everything down into 10's if you know what i mean.

Is this normal, is it a limitation of UMS or am i missing something in configuration?

BTW the PC is Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Not my experience... I currently have folders with 30 movies or so.

i also do not have all the files show up in a directory i am looking at.

sometimes less than a third of the files in a directory show up and can be viewed.

this would be a good thing for someone to take a look at.

if it is affecting two people in the forums, then it is affecting hundreds in the real world that will never post about it here.

As always without logs we are blind as a bat.
Normally renders request the filelist 10 items (or so) at a time. If you only see 10 I would suspect that the request for getting 11-20 somehow is lost. But without logs it's impossible to say.

My apologies in the long delay getting back to you guys but i've been very busy with work projects.

Here's an example of the above mentioned issue,

This problem occurs if there are more than 10 files in a directory or if there are more than 10 directories. UMS will only list the 1st 10 files/directories and nothing beyond that.

The example below is season 4 of Breaking Bad. It contains 13 episodes but UMS only list the first 10.

Thev 2nd log file is UMS while playing Breaking Bad, season 4 episode 9.

I have the same problem here, using the UPC Horizon Media Player.
Each folder shows only ten items, while there are more items in the folders.

I'll add the logs for you.
