[Solved] Philips PFL9705 TV -> stretched playback

Post by Dweebus »

Hey guys / girls,

as the topic says, I have a Philips PFL9705 series TV. Now when I play movies on it using UMS on my PC, the movies are "stretched", lacking a better word for it. You know, thin tall people :)
When I play the movie on my PC, using VLC, everything looks normal. So it seems that the aspect ratio is changed while transcoding the movie.

I have looked through the settings in UMS, but I can't seem to figure out how to keep the Original aspect ratio of movies. Could anyone help me out?

Which version of UMS is that? As I am using the latest version already.

Miracle worker!

It appears to work fine now, having tried the last movie that "stretched". Thanks! :D

Thanks for confirming :) The fix will be in the next release of UMS too :)
