Interested in Streaming in 60 FPS

Post by Lacedaemon »

Hello,

After successfully encoding in 60 FPS using this guide, I'm interested in taking the next step and encoding videos on-the-fly using UMS.

There's a problem, though; when I head over to the "Transcoding Settings" tab, I see the following:

Image
  • What is causing the highlighted options to be disabled?
  • Is my AviSynth script syntax correct for usage with UMS?
My specs, just in case:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2 GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 VRAM
OS: Windows 8.1 x64

Thanks!

At the bottom of the list, click the Cog symbol to Enable/Disable a transcoding engine

Wow... I am not smart.

It's enabled now, thanks. Now there's another problem: The PS3 does not want to play the AviSynth/Mencoder option (can provide picture of error code if necessary). Is there something wrong with my script? I copied it straight from the guide, and just tweaked it to add my GPU and 8 GB RAM.
