Does it work with 4.x? This is not something that has changed in 5.0 so if it works in 4 it should work.

no, as i reported on every release since 4.x UMS is not working on LG webos tv. it doesn't transcode. it get buffering and sending the movie as mpg2 and there is no audio.

I have noticed a few issues since updating from 4.2.x

1) The forward and reverse scan does not work on Samsung ES8000. This seems due to the time not running on the video so I cannot scan to a part of a film etc.
2) The connection seems to drop within 2 mins of the end of a title.
3) Xbox One did not detect this version.
Maybe it is a configuration issue, so any help would be appreciated. The good news is that the mkv files load and stream within 5 seconds now, where as before it took almost 2 mins to start playing a title once selected...

"Nope. it just means you don't have a WEB.conf file and thus UMS will not add a WEB folder. If this wasn't intended (or if you've got some odd permissions so that the WEB.conf can't be read) you should probably reinstall/restore the WEB.conf/make sure it is readable by UMS."

I've re-installed ums (after deleted previous install) but it's the same. I've verified i can read and write in the folder with ums.conf and web.conf. Nevertheless there is "Web conf path: C:\ProgramData\UMS\WEB.conf

For me, 4.2.2 is the latest version that works with the 360.

I installed UMS 5-a1 and the play next video in folder worked like a charm, however, when I installed 5-b1 this function fails with a popup saying "video cannot be played". The videos are the precise same files in both cases. The files are MKVs with 1080p AVC and 2 ch AC-3. The Android client is eHomeMediaCenter v2.0.23_121109. The Android device is an MK808.

I hope you can fix this so that I can install your future versions.
