DTS audio - keeping 5.1 sound
Hi guys,
My Samsung TV doesn't support DTS audio output from the optical out cable. When I play files with DTS audio through UMS on the TV, it seems to just be stereo sound making it to the receiver.
When I watch a file with dolby digital audio, it appears in the receiver as dolby digital and I get 5.1 surround.
I have "Keep DTS tracks" disabled in the settings. I would have thought this would mean that I would still receive 5.1 surround but in a different format. This doesn't seem to be happening.
Any thoughts on how I can get this working?
