No audio from mp4 video, Sony BDP-BX510

I have been trying to get a batch of .mp4 videos to play properly on my Sony Blu-ray player, BDP-BX510. The video plays properly without or with transcoding, but no audio is heard. UMS is the new 5.0 on Ubuntu, Java 8

VLC says my .mp4 files are MPEG-4 video and MPEG AAC audio. The renderer profile has: TranscodeVideo = MPEGTS-MPEG2-AC3

I have tried changing just about every option in the Sony-Bluray.conf and the new Sony-Bluray2013.conf renderer profiles, thinking that was the problem.

Finally I installed UMS 5.0 onto an old Windows XP laptop with Java 7, and tested these .mp4 videos. They still have no audio when not transcoded, or when transcoded using the default FFmpeg engine. HOWEVER, when using MEncoder it plays!!

Here are my logs from my testing. Both setups on Ubuntu and Windows XP are using the default Sony-Bluray.conf and Sony-Bluray2013.conf files.

I want to get something to work on my Ubuntu system, as that is my main desktop pc and home server.
