Samsung LN40C550
Hi,
I'm new to UMS and I see great posibilities on it not seen on other similar products like the possibility to use VLC as video engine.
Thats great!
However I'm still not able to use UMS because I can't detect the running instance from my tv.
After UMS starts, I see my tv model in Status tab with the correct IP Address.
My TV is a Samsung LN40C550 (quite old) (not smart tv, not even led tv, just LCD, good enough)
When I press "Media Player" buttom on the remote control, I got the following message (on the screen):
"No external storage found, check the connection status"
I also tried to check the list of Sources without luck.
I've uploaded the debug file ums_dbg_agomezro.zip
Please let me know on any issue with it and I'll be pleased to send the file anywere if needed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Samsung LN40C550
Hi All,
I've found out the original issue was a firewall issue.
If I completely disable it, I can perfectly see the UMS running on my computer from the TV.
The current issue now is the fact that I can't see any movie, all of them seems to be in a wrong format or at least in a format not understood by my TV.
Any idea?
BTW I've found a pdf file about my TV's DLNA certification status attached in this post.
Again, many thanks in advance.
