Constantly having to restart UMS
OK I've been using UMS for a while now and I'm having some issues that I can't figure out.
I have a Sony 40W605B tv that seems to have issues sometimes playing a file the 1st time I try: it will go busy and then tell me "playback not available" but a second time normally works.
I'm currently streaming over wi-fi with good signal. On a good day I can stream full (original) quality bluray media.
My main issue is that the renderer is constantly losing connection with the server if I leave it for a while. Sometimes randomly in the middle of trying to navigate the menus or watching something and its incredibly annoying.
I have to restart the program and hope it doesnt happen again. Sometimes it doesnt find the renderer at all and I have to restart the pc.
Please someone help me understand why these issues might be happening cos I cant for the life of me think that other people are experiencing this and are putting up with it in bulk.
Nothing is showing up in the debug log. Is it my tv? UMS? both?
Windows 8.1 64b btw.
