Hello,

I have this message in the log traces :
Error loading MediaInfo library: Unable to load library 'mediainfo': Native library (win32-x86/mediainfo.dll) not found in resource path ([file:/C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Universal%20Media%20Server/update.jar, file:/C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Universal%20Media%20Server/ums.jar])

Delete update.jar file!
It is not compatible with new versions and should not be used except for testing purposes

Hi,

I've just done a clean install and got the same issue,

INFO 10:38:54.803 [main] Error loading MediaInfo library: Unable to load library 'mediainfo': Native library (win32-x86/mediainfo.dll) not found in resource path ([file:/C:/Program%20Files/Universal%20Media%20Server/update.jar, file:/C:/Program%20Files/Universal%20Media%20Server/ums.jar])

I have no update.jar in the path so it cant be that..

Win 7, Java 8.

Hi,

MediaInfo.dll in both the 5.2.0 Java 7 & 8 releases is only 1KB and just contains:-

Replacing the file from an earlier release seems to work for now....

It seems you downloaded wrong version? I know there was reupload today for MAC version (not sure which versions of JAVA but seems it was v7/v8 only)

I'm new here. I downloaded new version. Videos with extrenal subtitles are working now but I can't fast forward or rewind on PS4 (with subtitles). Can I do something or just wait for next update?

Hi, I'm getting half-rendered Xbox One thumbnails.

I've been adding

Code: Select all

ThumbnailWidth = 256
ThumbnailHeight = 256
ThumbnailBackground = black

to my renderer each release, and that displays just fine.

Downloaded this new version but had to re-download and install 5.1.4. All the update did was remove the ability to fast-forward or rewind on the PS4.

May I ask what the differences are between the different Java versions ? Is UMS Java 8 better than the others ?
