Wii U support via browser?

I know Plex supports the Wii U via the browser by forcing mp4(h264/aac i.e. html5 video) for all files, but I was wondering if I could achieve something similar via UMS? I much prefer it over Plex.

Check log of UMS. You will find on which IP and port there is webinterface started which can be used from web browsers.
If I remember right it sits on port 9090?
