Panasonic TV - aspect ratio fix not detected

I have a Panasonic Viera ST50 HDTV and even though Universal Media Server detects it as Panasonic, the fix for aspect ratio stretching found in the config file is not applied. I have to manually add it as an option for MEncoder before it'll work. What can I do to fix this?

Also the Panasonic doesn't seem to stream anything but AVI unless you use the transcode feature. It just says "Please wait" indefinitely otherwise. Anything I can do about that?

Still an issue with 2.00. The software says it has detected my TV as Panasonic yet the -vf softskip,expand=::::1:16\/9:4 commandline required for correct aspect ratio is apparently not applied.

Yes, I already reported it to SubJunk as a bug when spotted it in more recent PMS/UMS versions
