Stuttering gone when bandwidth at 30
After using Serviio and Mezzmo for years I've come across this great product. Reason for searching around was stuttering on mkv's and mp4's, especially with outdoor panoramic scenes or where there is a lot of action. More so on Serviio than Mezzmo.
When I tried UMS I also had stuttering on these specific files (not all of them). Tried all of the solutions for stuttering in this forum (including bypassing the powerline adaptors), and in the end lowering my bandwidth to 30 solved the issue. Not very technical, so just wanted to ask what (if) I'm losing quality wise by having the bandwidth this low? All of the transcoding settings are default for automatic wired. Is there a better solution?
My setup is a Panasonic TX-P50G20BA connected to my PC (i5, 16GB RAM, SSD, GTX 760 2GB) through Devolo powerline adapters. My Devolo software shows the bandwith from PC to TV is between 60-75 Mbit/s and 100 Mbit/s from TV to PC.
Great product.
Cheers
