No Encoding means your TV can read the file , just as is. Thats good news =)

Hmm, but now it seems you're using another config?
FYI: On the status tab, if you click on th TV icon you'll see what config the TV is currently using.

Another thing, since you need subtitles disable tsMuxer for now.

If you could transcode with ffmpeg or mencoder, i'm sure you could get subtitles.

Try this config, and then try play mencoder- and ffmpeg versions (with subtitles) from #-transcode-# folder

Ok, sorry, i'm beginning to run out of ideas.
You could try a editing you config , simply try out stuff, In the DefaultRenderer.conf you can get a description and brief explanation of all the config settings.

--OR wait til someone with more knowledge pops by to help =)
