Re: Flac files appears twice in DLNA client browser
Flac files appearing twice for me running v.2.3.0 - even if there are only .flac files present in folder and no .cue or .m3u file/folder in sight.
Duplication appears in Oppo BDP-105, Marantz (aka Denon) SR7005 and WD TVLive.
Didn't happen with Serviio

Re: Flac files appears twice in DLNA client browser
I have no such problem, very weird. Checked if .cue or .m3u are possibly hidden files? I see duplicated files only when .cue is present - I have no .m3u anywhere.

Re: Flac files appears twice in DLNA client browser
Deifnitely no .cue files in folder, hidden or otherwise.
Even tried deleting all ID-tag info from .flac file in case that was being picked up - no change, still showing up twice in client browsers.
Very strange.
UPDATE -
.flac files will stream and play on Oppo, Marantz and WD TV Live (Firmware 1.13.18)
Marantz and WD TV Live play each flac file once, even if it is listed twice.
Oppo lists twice and plays twice - which is really annoying and as yet inexplicable.

Re: Flac files appears twice in DLNA client browser
I have the same problem. ( v.2.3.0 and renderers WDTVLive, french FreeboxHD). In detail :
1- .flac files appearing twice, the first with displayed size of the compressed file, the second with size of uncompressed file ( with no .wav file in the directory)
2- Opening the .cue file (corresponding to the .flac file with N tracks)) displays :
- the titles of the N tracks (OK) + the .flac file N times (in alternate order for WDTVLive and alphabetic order for FreeboxHD)
3- Even strange. The following sequence " closing the .cue file, closing the directory that contains the .cue file, then reopening this directory and reopening the .cue file " displays twice the N tracks titles and .flac file 2 x N times !
Repeat this sequence gives le same result but three times ( N tracks three times + .flac 3 x N times) ! and so on...
This does not occur with .ape and .wav files or associated .cue files.
P.S. Same problem with PS3 Media Server.
UPDATE
Similar problem with viewing photos.
Using WEB.conf and Picasa : first display OK, but after closing and reopening the directory, the image files are listed twice, and thumbnails displayed twice too.
Repeating gives three, four, five...
There is accumulation. Where ?

Re: Flac files appears twice in DLNA client browser
Question to all of you.
Are You running the Mediaserver on a Win box?
I suspect the Windows Media Server to be partly responsible, causing the DLNA renderer to become confused.
I'm in the middle of changing my server to a Mac Mini, so can't verify.

I have a similar problem with DVD titles appearing multiple times actually. I get
Title 1
Title 2
Title 3
Title 1
Title 2
Title 3
Title 1
Title 2
Title 3
But sometimes the ordering is completely random. I'm running UMS on a WinXP machine, but I'm not running Windows Media Server on it just UMS
