problems with streaming

Hi there all and Happy Healthy 2016 to everyone.I have had the UMS installed for several months and it was working perfectly.Now whether i am watching a movies or an episode of some series after a few minutes the movie goes back to the beginning and if it is a series it jumps to the next episode.This is extremely aggrevating as i am you will all understand.My question is , is there a solution to this ? If so please help me , thank you

A solution migh be found, but the starting point is reading the text in red above.
