Connect renderer with VPN

Hi to all...
my question is: it's possible to connect for streaming UMS (Windows) through VPN a one remote (i can ping the device IP and i added this IP in renders IP filter list) device (Lg smart tv)?

It might be possible but it won't be easy. Multicase address 239.255.255.250 on UDP port 1900 need to travel through the tunnel for it to work.

You can google multicast routing, I see that there are some possibilities but it doesn't look straight forward. It depends on the type of VPN tunnel and the end points and their routing capabilities. Encapsulating the traffic in a GRE tunnel inside the VPN tunnel seems to be a way to get multicast traffic through, but you still need to route it somehow.
