Mencoder doesn't work (UMS 2.2.1)

I've been using UMS for a long time now after having problems with PMS, but now I'm a having problem with this. Mencoder doesn't work. All other engines work, but Mencoder does nothing and on my PS3 I get a "content cannot be played" error. I need subtitles for what I want to watch, so I have to figure this out. I'm not sure what I could have changed because it was working yesterday. I tried re-installing and rolling back to a previous version, but I still get the same problem with any mkv file I try. Any suggestions? I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I'll post a random log:

What I've noticed during this process is that:

1. Mencoder sits on about 50% CPU for about 10 seconds then disappears. Never goes higher than that.
2. The transcoding buffer remains at 0mb.
