800288E1 Error on PS3
So... I've been trying to use UMS since ver. 5.0.0 and every time I encounter the same issue. Now I have UMS 6.2.0 Java 8 and the question still stands.
I try to watch some series. I successfully watch couple episodes. And then I have it, 800288E1 error in almost every possible video file. After that even files I already watched now gives me 800288E1. So I have no idea why is this happening.
P.S. PS3 Media Server works just fine.

From what I've read from other sites it relates to subtitles
I have the issue myself.
It seems external subs works better than internal subs

Funny thing is, I use only external subs. Still have error.
Re: 800288E1 Error on PS3
that is funny...... or not
For me it worked with external subs.
when I didnt had to work with transcoding
and when only using dd5.1 instead of dts

Hmm, I think I should check sound settings then. Maybe it'll work as temporary solution until fix. Or will become permament roundabout
