This release fixes video support on some renderers, adds the Server Settings folder and more!


Changes since 2.2.4:

• General:
  • Fixed transcoding support on some renderers (thanks for testing, Raker13!)
  • Merged the Video Settings folder into the Server Settings folder
  • Fixed a bug with the cache (thanks, valib!)
  • Several code optimizations (thanks, valib!)
• External Components:
  • Updated Java Runtime Environment automatic downloader for Windows to 7u11, which:
    • Fixes serious security holes

Upgrade Notes:

For versions prior to 1.5.0:
It is recommended to delete your UMS.conf file prior to installing this version. For Windows users you can choose the "clean install" option while installing instead.

For all versions:
It is recommended (but usually not necessary) to uninstall the older version before installing the new one.

I am new to UMS, 2.2.4 is the first version I installed. Tried everything and still couldn't get it working. Never bothered posting because I thought I would just get the run around. Upon installing v2.2.5, my PS3 was recognized on the initial booting of UMS. Thanks for this update. Running Win 7 Premium, 32 bit.

Still no change in streaming to my Uhost2 Android - streams files fine, but transcoding files with subtitles results in "Video cannot be played." My Android.conf is untouched from the installation.
