Files are Re-Encoded on PS3
I'm trying to play 720 x 480 interlaced .m2ts files on my PS3 via UMS. The PS3 is set to 576p as there's no 480i setting. However when I play a 480i physical Bluray disc with those files on it does actually play in 480i so surely 480i is possible via UMS on my PS3?
Is there a setting I need to do to enable playing the files without re-encoding them?

Can anyone help with this? I got an email notification saying someone replied to the thread but I can't see any posts in the thread.
