Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
1. I do clean install of UMSSami32 wrote:I guess that my weak english doesn't help as well![]()
Do you mean that when you delete the Yamaha renderer configuration file, you are able to play all your PC's music ? I still doesn't understand what you meanUnder 6.5.3, all music files work the render doesn't work
I'll look at your log for the web radio later, as i understood that it didn't work for you.
EDIT: Stop to post 2 times the same thing !
2 I copy my config and web files back to the correct directory
3 I copy the a720 config to the render folder.
Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
What do you mean exactly by my config ? as by web file i think that your refering to web.conf file ?2 I copy my config and web files back to the correct directory
As a side note, i guess that you know that you are using an old 32-bit Java 7u75 version on your 64-bit Windows 7 OS ?
Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
Yes I am refereeing to the UMS.config and the web.config. Those are the only files I restore back to the clean install. Yes I haven't updated java as of yet, I just keep as is for now .Does having the correct Java have anything to do with the performance of UMS?Sami32 wrote:What do you mean exactly by my config ? as by web file i think that your refering to web.conf file ?2 I copy my config and web files back to the correct directory

Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
The default icon of this Yamaha renderer will only appear in the 6.6.0 UMS version, as it's a new one, but your renderer will work fine also without it.
No, i don't think so, i was searching the reason why your renderer icon didn't appear, and that make me look at your Java configuration.
EDIT: BTW, copy your ums.conf file in a clean UMS install is a bad idea that could give you issue.

Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
Did you check the 7.0 logs?
Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
Rapidly, but the 7.0.0a1 have the same base as the 6.5.3 version, not like the 6.6.0 version.
Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
Are you saying I shouldn't copy my config files back to the C:\ProgramData\UMS after a clean install?Sami32 wrote:The default icon of this Yamaha renderer will only appear in the 6.6.0 UMS version, as it's a new one, but your renderer will work fine also without it.

I mean that you shouldn't copy your ums.conf file back to the C:\ProgramData\UMS after a clean install.
Re: Need YAMAHA RX- A720 renderer
So what needs to be done if you want to keep your settings for UMS?
