Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
It means that you've played it before. You can turn if off per shared folder by disabling the "Watch played status" checkbox.
To explain, there is no difference in DLNA between "thumbnails" and "album art". Many people like to see what they've played before, especially for video, and this is indicated with this symbol in the thumbnail aka album art.

Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
I was a bit worried about that - I think that once a media is marked as "played" it will keep that status even if you later disable monitoring of that folder.
There are two possible resolutions that I can think of:
There are two possible resolutions that I can think of:
- Clear the cache by clicking the "Reset cache" button found on the same tab as the shared folders. This will mean that all cached information about your media files will be deleted and it could take some time to rebuild if you scan your folders manually. If you don't scan, it will be rebuilt bit by bit as you browse the media folders, so you probably won't notice anything other than that opening a folder for the first time takes a bit of extra time.
- If you don't want to clear the cache and/or doesn't care for media being marked when played for any folder, you can simply change "Fully played action" directly above your shared folders to "Do nothing".
Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
I´ve found no "reset Cache button", but do nothing was the solution - Thanks!

Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
It's there unless you have "Hide advanced options" enabled on the "General configuration" tab.

Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
Oh yes, it is but it has the short sweet translation "Neuinitialisierung der Mediensammlung" in German
Hast du Angst?
(It's about the only German I know
)

Re: Unknown Sign in Thumbnail
well, i see - but "Neuinitialisierung der Mediensammlung" is meaning a diffrent Thing as "Reset Cache"...
An initialise isn´t a reset, and Mediensammlung (Media Data) isn´t the Cache.
Better Translation is: "Reset Cache" *g*
but, that wasn´t the solution - i tried it at first.
best Regards Paddy.
P.s. Die Angst ist mein bester Freund, sie ist immer ehrlich und passt auf mich auf!
