UMS 6.7.2 m4a not playing again.

I had an issue in the past where UMS suddenly started returning errors when trying to play any m4a files through my Yamaha receiver. It would just report "Unable to Play" on the display. MP3 continued to work fine. I finally traced the problem down to running the JAVA 7 build of UMS when I had JAVA 8 installed on the system. I changed over to the JAVA 8 version and the issues disappeared. I haven't updated UMS on my PC for a while and tonight I pulled the latest 6.7.2 build down. It looks like you've got to a universal build that is not JAVA version specific anymore. Now my m4a playback issues have returned. Exact same problem as before. Trace log is attached.

You can try with that renderer, set it into \Universal Media Server\renderers, start UMS, test it and report back

Please, test M4A, MP3, FLAC and WAV files as well.

Did you installed UMS as service as well ?

The config file seems to have done the trick. I tested it against the MP3, m4a, and FLAC files I had readily available and all are playing correctly again.

No it was not installed as a service, just the standard installation really, with my shares added.

Where? On the forum? I don't know what happens here, not long ago it wasn't possible to attach anything at all so SubJunk probably had to make some changes to make room for more attachements.

@Nadahar He fixed it when we've reported the users issue to him.

But it seem now have a new upper limit that i'm not aware of, and if you or the users are not, that mean that's it's again an unilateral change without advertising anyone...

EDIT: I just finish to test, and yes, the attachment need to be < 5 MB.

That last WMA basically locks my receiver up completely until I kill UMS. Then it returns to normal operation.

Please, confirm that now, the non supported WMA file is played fine, because it should be transcoded to WAV.
