no external subtitles options, webos 3.5 LG B7P
Hi guys
A lot of mkv files have internal subtitles but not the one I want. So I download them and put in the same folder with the same filename.
It works with MPC or Serviio.. but UMS just won't let me choose this external subtitle (SRT) on my TV.. it just shows the internal mkv's ones!
any help? it's not a transcoding option, because the file shouldn't be transcoded!!

I'm having the same problem as the OP

Re: no external subtitles options, webos 3.5 LG B7P
@Heiler
This line in your [LG]webOSTVOLED55B7P.conf file is wrong:
SupportedExternalSubtitlesFormats = srt
It should be:
SupportedExternalSubtitlesFormats = SUBRIP
or if you want it to support more external subtitle types as well:
SupportedExternalSubtitlesFormats = SUBRIP,ASS,TEXT,MICRODVD,WEBVTT,SAMI
There is a specific conf file for LG WebOS 3.5 as well. It is the conf file LG-WebOS.conf.
Have you tried that conf file with your TV.
PS. I just noticed that you have previously started a thread about this issue and received advice in the "Media Renderers" section.
