UMS Can't Detect My TV
UMS was working fine a few weeks ago but when I started it up today it cannot detect my TV (but my chromecast is detected successfully). I have disabled the windows firewall but no luck. I've attached the trace log. Please kindly help. Thanks very much.

Re: UMS Can't Detect My TV
I can't see something definitive, but I find it strange that you have no shared folders. Is this really the UMS.conf you use?
You have a lot of network interfaces, so there might be some issues there, but the log has no attempted communication from any other devices. My best guess would be that you have some network configuration issues. The UMS computer is using 192.168.1.6 (that's the only network interface with a valid IPv4 address). To see your TV, it must be on the same subnet. What is the IP address of your TV?

Re: UMS Can't Detect My TV
i did not configure any share folder because by default it would share all folders of my pc which is what i wanted.
i just check the ip of my tv right now it is 192.168.1.2, it is in the same subnet with my ums computer. in the router admin page, i also see my ums computer, my chromecast and my tv attached to my router, all having ip 192.168.1.x.

Re: UMS Can't Detect My TV
That's strange. Please cold restart (disconnect - wait - connect power) your router, turn off the Windows firewall and create a new log file with the firewall disabled.

Re: UMS Can't Detect My TV
No new information in this log, I don't understand what's going on. You could try to "force" the IP address to use for the network on the general tab, to see if it makes a difference. It shouldn't normally, but something is preventing any communication from reaching UMS (except those found by the chromecast mDNS). If that doesn't help, I would try to disable chromecast in UMS' configuration.
Re: UMS Can't Detect My TV
It turns out that it's the problem of my TV. I reset it to factory default and now it can be detected in UMS. Thanks for the help.
