Looking For Some Help Streaming UHD to PS3

Hi there all,

I just recently got a new VIZIO E-Series SMART TV

And I would like to be able to stream UHD movies on it.

I can very clearly stream 1080p movies with no problem.

I have finally been able to get the UHD movies to play but
I can tell that it is NOT in UHD.

Any help that anyone could suggest is greatly appreciated.
I also do have a PS4 if anyone has a reliable way to do this
with a PS4

The network is wired
WINDOWS 10 64 bit
Quad Core 3.30ghz
8 gb ram

If there's anything else I can post that will help anyone willing
to assist me just let me know. I'm usually pretty quick in responding

Hey there,

Other articles I've come across in this forum has said
that they have done it.

I don't care if it's PS3 or PS4.

There are many threads about the PS4, I don't have one myself and I know that there are all kind of issues with the PS4 and all the different versions. You should be able to find what you need to enable it you search the forum. I'm not sure about this, but I think the reason it's not enabled by default in UMS' configuration is that not all PS4's can handle it.

as far as i know you will only be able to stream UHD on PS4 pro and not a normal PS4 or PS3 (i'm guessing the topic title is a typo though)
