Glad you got it sorted.....but like Speedy never heard of WFC.......seems to 'push' windows firewall further similar to commercial firewalls.....learn't something new.... :)

Can You write how you solved problems with the availability UMS?
I also have WFC and do not know what exactly I put to unlock.

Creating Windows firewall inbound/outbound rules for javaw.exe and UMS for the win.

***One important note***

I noticed that when updating UMS to a new version, the indbound rule for javaw.exe gets deleted. Sucks. Hopefully it gets fixed.
