How to transcode?
Hi all,
i'm new of UMS, i own a Samsung smart tv that won't play mkv x265 movies but works with x264. I have read that UMS can transcode on the fly and so i could watch all kind of movies, can you please explain to me how to transcode a movie? Must i have to create a folder and put inside all the x265 movies? I've searched on internet aome info but i've only found the explications of the transcode options.
The model of my tv is a 6200 46", 2012 model.
Sorry for my bad english
Thanks a lot to whom may help me.

Re: How to transcode?
UMS has difficulties transcoding to newer samsungs.
Have you enabled the #--transcode--# folder?
If you go into that, and play the "<filename>-[no encoding]"- option.. does the file play?
If it does, then it means your render.conf is not setup correctly
