This version is ok.
External subtitles is worked.
There is a small problem that still show {Unknown Subtitle}
I guess the problem is the server did not know what language the subtitle is.
So it show this tag, in version 7.9, it was showed by {External Subtitle}
But this is not a big problem.

We support some customization of that subtitle message, if you go to the Navigation Settings tab, and the "Add subtitles information to video names" lets you choose to display more information.

External subtitles also dont work on Samsung Q8DN TV with UMS 10.12.0. Same error as described in this topic.

External subs not working on my LG TVs also. Tried to tweak everything with the language. But no matter what, it always transmits the internal mkv subtitle, ignoring the srt file in the same directory (same name of file).

Interesting that even UMS displaying the correct external subtitle language after the file name (on the renderer side), it still loads the wrong internal subtitle while playing.
