Windows Media Player

I recently moved from PMS to UMS. Everything is working fine except that PMS used to detect Windows Media Player as a renderer and I used to be able to stream my media from my Desktop to the Laptops and play them on WMP on the Laptops. UMS doesn't detect WMP as a Media Renderer. Is that by design, is it a bug or am I doing anything wrong?

We disabled WMP detection because I thought it didn't work. I will re-enable it in the next version

Was this ever confirmed working?

Because I'm currently trying to get WMP12 on Windows 8 working, and it can see UMS, but I cannot see any media or even any folders.
