14.9 Windows 64 bit download please?
Now 14.10 is out, 14.9 should be avail to all,
However, the download (windows 64 bit at least) is not working and just dumps to a 404 GitHub screen.
Please fix. TIA

Thanks... seems to be "working" to some extent... but I think its still messed up/wrong.
The download now downloads a version called "UMS-Windows-14.9.0-x86.exe"... which by normal naming convention would be 32 bit... and if I run, it gives the warning "A 64 bit version of installer is avail", which again suggests this is not a 64 bit version.
Last version.. the file was called "UMS-14.8.0-x86-64.exe" which, unless its a dual 32bit/64bit installer, it not a great naming convention.. and looking on github, its now just "UMS-14.8.0.exe" so it was changed after I downloaded it
And I see from the 14.10.0 release notes they say "re-adds the Windows 64-bit installer,"... which sort of suggests this 14.9 is probably lacking..
SO can anyone confirm... is this 14.9.0 download a 64 bit? or where is the 64 bit version?
Or should I just skip this and wait for 14.10.0 ?

Looks like I found a copy.. from

Which seems to have a sensible name to suggest it 64 bit... is 140mb as opposed to the default download from your web site which is 185mb
And on installation startup.. does not warn about there being a 64bit version avail..
After installing... seems to be running 64bit per task manager..
Not great that I had to dig around for so long to try and get (and still cant get currently from your github.. so god knows where Videohelp got it from)... this a not very subtle attempt to get people to join Patreon?

There was problems with the new 64 bit installer in 14.7.0 to 14.8.0 so this was temporally removed till it was fixed.
The old installer does actually install the 64 bit version but it would use "C:\Program Files (x86)" when it should have been using "C:\Program Files".
The new installer uses the right location and adds more options like a portable install but did not take into account the old install location so would break things if you did not do a clean install.
The naming convention change was to make it clearer exactly what version is installed. There are some Mac users on ARM that were using the wrong one for example.
As the naming change is very recent in some places may have slipped though, unfortunately the main one was the download link.
It had nothing to do with getting people on to Patreon, it was actually those that first discovered the problems.
You also don't need be be on Patreon to get the latest version as you can always build directly from Github yourself.
I would be careful about getting UMS from other locations as they may have unwanted surprises added.
