Windows RT tablets support

Hello,

i'm using a Asus Vivo Tab RT tablet with Windows RT OS. I have an app, called "Multimedia 8". It works with Windows Media Center, but not with UMS server. I even can't add UMS to the system(through devices section, pairing process). I even created a home group, but still no luck.

Please include the support of Windows RT OS to the roadmap

Um why not just use Simple File sharing? Does windows rt not support all these files pretty easy?> also have u tried Different Applications?

I too would love a support for Windows/Surface RT's more limited codec support.

I made a donation to VLC, but that's only a partial solution.

Can someone recommend a vanilla renderer or one for another device, which might work on RT?

I use UMS to connect to my Xbox 360 and would love an RT counterpart.
