only audio plays when playing videos on PS3

I was using UMS 2.6.4 for windows when i started having this issue. I am now using the 2.7.0 Optimus build and still having the same problem. On older versions of UMS all of my videos would play just fine no matter what file type it was, but now over half of my videos refuse to play the video track. They only play the audio track when I start playing the video file. I thought that maybe a certain codec wasn't transcoding correctly, but I don't think that's the problem because most of them are H.264 and some of them work annd others don't. Majority of my videos are mp4's with a couple mkv's and m2ts's thrown in there. Just curious if anyone else is having this issue. If anyone can help I'd be very thankful!

jhubert95, thanks for posting. Could you try 2.6.2 and see if it works, you should be able to get it from our archive on google code or sourceforge.

Just tried 2.6.2 with no avail. same thing still happens... It's weird because this never used to happen. Could it be how the newest UMS and the newest PS3 firmware are interacting, compared to older versions?

I'm not sure but i'm trying to see if there maybe some sort of issue. Poeple have been reporting that some versions work and that others (like yourself) don't. Hopefully we can get down to the source of the issue (if there is one with UMS as it could lie with the PS3 and there firmware updates) soon. Could you post a debug log with the issue, using a UMS to a PS3. Do you have any other renderer's to check to see if you have the same issues?
