SharkHunter: Yes I have only used 2.21, I've made a completely clean install of UMS (2.6.5) + the channels plugin five times with the same result.
EDIT: I have tried with UMS version 3.0.0-b1, it does not find my PS3 but I tried installing the plugin here anyway. Here the channels plugin installs but won't even show up under Installed Plugins even after numerous restarts and the problem with no channels remains. Version 2.6.5 works like a charm for me except from plugin problems (Windows 7 x64). Tack på förhand, ha ett trevligt höstlov!

I can't be the only one with this problem. Can somone help me to do a full "offical" install of the plugin?

I changed to <root level = "TRACE"> in logback.xml but the debug log doesn't get any new entries that seems relevant. Should I change anything else to get a more "full" debug log?SharkHunter wrote:pen - yeah that looks like a bug there. PLs upload the full debug log. Edit: I have now tried the official 3.0.0 release with the same error.

I've uploaded a new version 2.22 which should fix this problem (plus some minor bugs).

Thank's alot Sharkhunter. I'm eager to verify that the plug-n-play install works (as starting point). However, UMS 3.0.0 still points to Channels 2.21, so how can I verify that plug-n-play works?

Nope SubJunk has to do an update there. You can manually download version 2.22 from here https://sharkhunter-shb.googlecode.com/ ... ug_222.jar and place that file in the plugins dir (remove the 2.21 version also).

Just did a fresh/clean install of UMS 3.0, and added that channel plugin 2.22.... Created a <channels> folder filled up with .ch files, a <scripts> folder with .groovy, .py, .pl and .bat files.... Shouldn't I have some .exe files somewhere?SharkHunter wrote:Thats the idea yes. Doesn't it work?
After that can see all the corresponding .ch files as "folders" on my samsung TV, most don't give anything... still checking

Sounds like it worked as it should (more or less). To get the exe files etc you must install Channels from the plugin installer. The update is only there to update channels and scripts not the script engines them self. On the other hand you should be able to run some (a lot) of the channels without scripts etc. There are some channels that most likely doesn't work either. I know for sure that SVTPlay works and TPB.
