Hello Cyberbooster,

In answer to your problems with the subs, try losing the quote marks (") in your set up.

It works for me with Dutch subtitles.

Snakebyte, thank you for your support.

I'm afraid your suggestion didn't work as expected, still no subs.... :(

Here's the debug log.

Cyberbooster,

Sorry to hear.

I'm a noob on Java so I cannot really read/understand what your log says ( sorry ).

I just saw a difference in the set-up compared to mine working one so that's why my response.

Maybe Optimus Prime can check your logs ans find something odd in it.

Good luck.

Sorry Cyberbooster i don't use sub's myself. But i will try to test some of the movies i have subs for to see if i can find the issue. You have alot of "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException" in your log, so let me try and figure out what maybe causing them.

Please remember, the Java 7 releases are Beta and will/may have issues. So please be patient or try the standard OS-X release (Java 6)

No problem, i can manage without subs. :)

I use the most recent java7 possible because I'm concerned a little about java security (a lot of malware/spyware use java bugs...)

Java6 support from Apple will drop one day or another... Better be prepared ;)

I have to say, I had Java6 before, but I uninstalled it brutally.
So maybe it has something to do with my Java intallation.

I hope it helps! :D

Nope. I have to say, my wd tv live streaming detects the subrip (after the filename it shows subs:subrip).
I have to say, i know my wd tv live doesn't support subs with mkvs but in windows the server (2.6.5 I didn't try the newer ones) it transcodes and burn-in correctly.
