25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
Hi,
I have mkv which is 25fps and my Panasonic vt60 judder allot. I was googling for 2 days and no way to set ums or tv. Evidently I don't understand my hardware and all this video play mechanics.
My tele can go automatically on 50/60hz on hdmi in (it say on different bluerays different hz when playing)
But on ums Dlna streamed stuf it does not recognise anything and apparently it goes on 60hz and judde allot.
Havo no idea what to do.
Thx for advise.
Btw also .mov from canon does not function over ums.

Re: 25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
Yup
My written English is a bit messy
I made actually 2 posts cause I have 2 different questions. One is about settings for Dlna client on my blueray player
Pana bdt120. And other is judder problem of Dlna client on Panasonic tv with mkv on 25 fps.
I try allot settings to avoid frame rate problem Ums -> TV. So wanted to try use bd player like Dlna client and then use hdmi to tele. So I posted for my 2 different problems.
But prior one is fps judder problem. All mkv on 29.xxx fps go well .
My setup:
Tv: Panasonic p50vt60
Dlna: ums 3.1.x. With edited Panasonic .conf at Hp micro server with lubuntu 13.x
Bd player : Panasonic bdt120
All on wired giga Ethernet.
Thx .

Re: 25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
So let me see if i get this correct ok:
Both Renderer's are Panasonics.
one is your TV: p50vt60
the other is your blu-ray player: bdt120
You'd like to stream to the blu-ray player. If thats the case then we'll need ot build a custom CONF; to do that the best way is to turn off all your renderer's in UMS -- capture the User-agent yoru blu-ray uses -- then run device spy to see what your blu-ray can handle.
first go turn off all renderers in here
then follow these directionsto device spy yoru blu-ray player

Re: 25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
I checked info on Dlna certification site.
Seems that bd player is real crap
I'll use pana tv like renderer it is much more strong.
Any way il do also check with media info and I'll post results ASAP
Thx

Re: 25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
I expect you are from Czech or Slovak so your TV is european model. I own similar one and have no problems with 24/25/30fps movies.
Please post debug.log in TRACE mode (debug.zip) so we can see if your judder is present with streamed/remuxed or transcoded video.
What do you mean with modified Panasonic.conf file?

Re: 25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
Yes I'm from slovakia
I took panasonic.conf and did some random changes cause original one does not function with my TV.
Now I'll do all detection procedures and I'll post all to forum.
I'm completally new with Audio/video things, I just made my first combo NAS+dlna+Smart TV so I'm learning how thing are working
so be patient a bit, I'm SW developer so I hope I'll be in fast.
Thx.

Re: 25fps mkv judder on pana p50vt60
You have to change DEBUG level of debug.log to TRACE before you will try to reproduce problem. Right now nothing useful is in the log.
