Thank you for sharing your config file.
I currently using UMS 3.2, and my TV is Panasonic LED - 2012 model.
Your config provide working solution for me when trying to play ISO files, an all dvd files.

The original Panasonic.config come with version 3.2 does not work.

thanks again.

Please don't try to use old config.
Try to use original Panasonic.conf file (reinstalling UMS - you will not loose any settings)
If it will not work, change this line and restart UMS:

Code: Select all

DLNALocalizationRequired=true
If still doesn't work and your problematic files are AVI/Divx, try to comment ["#"] this line and restart UMS:

Code: Select all

#Supported = f:avi|divx v:mp4|divx|mjpeg a:mp3|lpcm|mpa|ac3 m:video/divx qpel:yes|no gmc:0
It is probably problem for US TVs as they doesn't support AVI/Divx and some types requires "DLNA Localization".
Please let us know the results.
Thanks

Thank you so much, changing

Ok, thanks for confirming. It seems EU models are ok with both settings but US model require Localization enabled.
Will be fixed in next update.

How come MKV seems to be missing from the conf file? I have a GT50 and it streams MKVs fine. I don't think any remuxing/transcoding is necessary. I'm also interested to know if DTS can be added? The GT50 supports it I believe. Cheers.

Majority doesn't support mkv, only newer models but not all have these models.
So safer it is to remux them so it will work on both. Setting direct streaming will break support for older models.
You can choose another Panasonic conf file which supports mkv and disable the old one. Because of that there is renderer chooser in Gui.
