User tip for Mavericks users
For everyone who has scanning problems on their folders and files (server time outs ),
Try to use : skip transcoding for the following extension and then fill in :'ts'.
Somehow this worked for me and all the scanning and file playing is snappy again as it was before using Mavericks.
