Post by maracucho »

I had a samsung UN55ES8000 using DLNA and showed me an icon with the image of the film.
Now I have a samsung un60f8000 and using the DLNA does not show the icon with the image of the film, just put me an icon with a clip, and using the samsung software allshare if me sign, can Anador the function in the new version?
is there any way you can help?

sorry for my English, I speak Spanish and I'm using google translator

I have this television as well, same model. I can't see movie covers either on mine.

Also, the streaming is extremely jerky, like lost frames. Are you able to stream with no issues like this?

Really there is no problem with dnla is just the problem of icons.

The dlna works perfectly, except for some problems with formats that do not play on tv, what I do is recode and ready.

With the new upgrade of f8000, version 1116.1 the transcode work well.

I use universal media server 3.3.0.

I have a Samsung TV as well and i don't see movie covers.. its because all the icons used in AllShare reside on the TV already. It wont pull extra icon info -- with the exception for the UMS icon thats presented in the Input menu.

As far as i know and understand it.

Its not like the PS3 :/
