UMS & Xbox One
Hi,
Wondering if anyone have successfully streamed / transcoded Movies from NAS, via Skifta or some other app to the Xbox One?
I have encountered 2 issues.
1) transcoding stops after 15-30 Seconds, if it doesn't then -» 2)
2) a lot of skipping frames.
Setup: nas -» switch -» pc -» UMS -» skifta (iPhone app) -» Xbox One on Gigabit network. Using about 180mb/sec according to UMS.
I am not on my computer now, so no Access to debug logs.
Thanks

Re: UMS & Xbox One
I think the problem with using Skifta to push to any device is that it has to route the traffic though the device that called it form... so liek.. UMS --> ipHone --> xbox One...
so the network limitation is the iPhone in this case...
Buffer underlfow i think is related to the need of the xbox of more data than what is being delivered... so what i think is happening is that the iPhone is a bottle neck.
not to sure but ive seen this before with Skifta on Android doing the kind of same thing you just mentioned with TV's and other android devices.
