avi files

Post by Monica Jae »

Anyone know why i have this issue? i searched for this and only came up with 4 threads which weren't relevant. I have a panasonic p55st60 which I know plays .avi's. However whenever i browse and come across avi's they always present themselves with the [!]. The only way it seems to be able to play them is when transcoded. It gets kind of annoying especially when I have a season of shows to watch and i have to go into the transcode folder/access the show folder/ then chose a transcoded file. Then I have to exit out of all of those and repeat the process all over again.

I realize I had this issue before and deflanko's remedy was an update to panasonic.conf? is that still relevant or does that need an update as well? thanks

Why don't you force avi transcoding in the transcode menu video tab setting
