Thanks for the response. Sorry took me a bit to find time to test..
I tried to install over previous install and tried a clean install, but sorry, no change..
Like the salsolo, I don't see an obvious link with the ones that do and don't work.

OK, can you try copying mencoder.exe from the working PMS installation over onto the UMS one? That way we can see if it is MEncoder that is causing the problem

Windows 7 Ultimate

System: Gateway
Processor: Inter(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6320 @ 1.86GHz

Hmm yeah I think MPlayer added some stuff to support newer CPUs that caused problems for older CPUs. Can you please post your debug.log after playing a file with the version of MEncoder that works? Thanks!

My responses are slow, sorry.. Work and such..
I tried to remove personal info out of the log by doing find/replace.
I was able to start two ISOs in this debug log named NONYA and NONYA2. For some reason, a third ISO showed up called NONYA_I_DID_NOT_PLAY_THIS which I didn't play hence the name.

No problem about the slow responses
If I made some new builds of mencoder to test, would you test them for me? Hopefully that way I can include the fix in the next version of mencoder instead of having to rollback to that old version, since there have been some good improvements since that one
