Right now, UMS build installs as 32bit..can it be upgraded to 64 bit install? Pros or Cons?

64bit applications allow programmers to use larger integers and floating points to do more math. Perhaps the renderers can benefit from a 64bit version but probably not UMS itself.

Hi glenrocks, it's a good question but like maxideus said there would be no benefit. UMS itself is super fast already, it's just the engines that would benefit from 64-bitness.
In the next version (1.3.0) I have added 64-bit FFmpeg which is used automatically when a 64-bit version of Windows is detected.

Thanks SJ and Max.
Since I do not uninstall and overwrite old version with new, will UMS install overwrite w/ new 64bit ffmpeg? From the running ffmpeg process, it says 32bit (WOW64)

I decided to not add 64-bit FFmpeg because it was running into memory issues. Maybe in the future
