LG smart tv upgrader (LG 32LA6136) starting and stopping

Hi there,

I have a problem with my new TV. I got a LG 32LA6136 and it can find the UMS fine, but when I try to watch a file from the server, it works for a few seconds, stops, then continues for a few seconds, stops again, and so on. I first thought it's the bandwith or the buffer, but I can see in the log, that it's starting and stopping to play the file all the time, which is a little strange.
On another note, the LG can'T seem to find the Plex media server on the same server. But my PS3 is working fine with both Plex and UMS.

Anyone got an idea?

So UMS is identifying your TV as:

which is the "LGST600.conf"

Because both your TV and the LG Smart TV upgrader both have the User-Agent: "UserAgentSearch=LGE_DLNA_SDK" in it.

My guess is because in that MediaInfo=True is set and Supported Video and Audio formats are identified, thats what videos start then stop right away.

Try building a Custom CONF file to suit your needs of the LG TV lineup.

I am not sure I understand.

The video is playing (I have sound too if I disable direct DTS streaming) it just stops every few seconds, then continues. It looks like there is not enough bandwith or transcoder power, but the CPUs are not doing anything and the buffer is filling, but in the logfile, I see this starting and stopping all the time. But the video continues to play, it just stops for a second every few seconds.
I tried modifying the conf file, but I got nowwhere .

Ok, just to clarify. The TV can play the files just fine. It just seems to send out requests that make the UMS stop serving the file and immediately start serving it again. That would not be a problem, if it didn't clear the buffer revery time . The only reason it's transcoding is the audio channel. The TV can't do DTS so UMS is converting that to stereo.

Any1 else got an idea what I could configure or change to fix this? I can't be the only one trying to get a LA61XX Series to run .
