[FIXED] 3.3.0 static for audio on some movie files
hi,
i am having some issues playing certain, but not all, movie files with UMS 3.3. i didn't have these issues with UMS 3.1 (not sure about 3.2 as i didn't watch any movies with that version). i did a 'clean install' when upgrading from 3.2 to 3.3.
my issue is that when playing certain movies from UMS to my PS3 i get complete static for audio but the video will play perfectly. a couple examples of the audio info for the movies that create the static are as follows:
DTS 1509Kbps 6ch (packed in an mkv file)
or
AudioCodec : AC3
AudioBitRate : 640000
AudioChannels : 6
AudioSampleRate : 48000 (packed in an avi)
however, other movies with audio info very similar play just fine. i have had no issues with any other video files but >4GB movie files (although i imagine that info is irrelevant).
all the movies which have static for audio play just fine on my computer in both WMP and vlc. i have also tried transcoding the movies with static as audio via UMS on the PS3, but that doesn't help at all.
any thoughts? debug info is attached. thanks for any help.

UPDATE (temporary fix):
i reverted back to UMS v3.1.0 and all the movies which were only giving static for audio are working just fine again. it appears that their was some change made between 3.1 and 3.3 that is causing this issue. i am kind of surprised that more people aren't experiencing it.
