access to the server
Hello,
once you have started the UMS, everyone on the computer has access to the UMS Settings. Is it possible to protect access to the settings with a password?

Re: access to the server
Yes.
When you first install UMS it will open a web browser to prompt you to create an admin account, or you can chose to disable this option.
I'm not sure if it will ask when upgrading from a older version but you should be able to select manage accounts to turn on the authorisation service.

Hi,
that is true, but when you right mouse click on the UMS Icon in the taskbar every user can open the settings.

Re: access to the server
If someone has physical access to the computer then they can do anything so not much you can do to prevent this other than needing a windows password to use it.
Even if you can prevent someone opening the old settings they could just as easily edit the conf files with a text editor.
This is more for having UMS run on another computer and still being able to manage it remotely.
